A focused practice session

Choose the problems. Keep the answers separate.

Build a worksheet from FlowMath's sixteen original exercises. Use a short set for one conversion or a mixed set for rate, volume and time. No account is needed.

Three steps

  1. Choose the exercises in the practice space. The worksheet keeps their original order.
  2. Preview questions only. Print that preview or download its text file; it includes working space and no worked answers.
  3. Preview the worked answer key separately when you are ready to check. Its file and heading are clearly labeled.

What is in the set?

The problems cover US GPM and MGD, cubic feet and gallons, liters and cubic meters, elapsed time, and finding average flow or volume. Every worked key uses the same calculation engine as the calculator.

A useful short session

Select the 100 US gal/min to MGD conversion and the 12,000 gallons in 30 minutes problem. Write the starting units beside each value, calculate, then compare with the separate key. Explain which time or volume unit cancels before moving to the next problem.

Print and privacy

Print preview contains the selected worksheet, not your current calculator result or saved progress. Choosing or revealing worksheet answers never marks a practice exercise solved. Selection is temporary and resets after a page refresh. Downloaded files remain wherever you save them.

Study scope

These are original arithmetic exercises, not actual examination questions or approved training. All gallons mean US liquid gallons and days are fixed 24-hour intervals. Round answers to three decimal places when needed; the key shows up to ten significant digits using unrounded factors. Flow is treated as constant or an average over the stated interval.
